Scrapbooking Technique
of the Month
Learn how to use eyelets or gromets.
Eyelets are great embellishments.
Use them to: fasten paper down, include vellum, create an eye of a tag,
or incorporate ribbon on a page. I find the keys to succesful eyelet
setting is to make sure you have a hard, separate surface to hammer
upon (I use a little cutting board) and use determined hits with the
hammer. Make sure you buy scrapbooking eyelets; sewing gromets are different.
Gromets tend to be longer and tougher.
